Sant Ferran Castle Consortium is a non-profit public entity, which goal is the economic, technical and administrative cooperation between the entities that integrate it (Ministry of Defense, Autonomous Government of Catalonia and Figueres City Hall), for the management, organization and enhancement of the actions related to the preservation, restoration and revitalization of Saint Ferdinand fortress.

The Consortium currently offers different services and activities in one of the most important fortresses for events of Europe and the world. The Sant Ferran castle Consortium was born as a result of the Governing Partnership Agreement, signed on November 6th, 2003 between the Ministry of Defense, the Autonomous Government of Catalonia and Figueres City Hall to put cultural value to Saint Ferdinand castle in Figueres; to do so, the Ministry of Defense yields to the Consortium the use of the lands and facilities of the Castle during a term of fifty years.
